Google’s innovative Circle to Search feature finally arrives on the Pixel 7 series with the March Feature Drop. This lets you search the web simply by circling an image or text on your screen.
Google’s Circle to Search is now rolling out to the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro. This feature debuted earlier this year as a Galaxy S24 exclusive, and Google is slowly rolling out the same to the Pixel series of smartphones. The feature is currently available for the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 7 series of smartphone users, which allows users to reverse search the web by circling around an image or text.
As part of the March Feature Drop, the Pixel 7 series has gained the Circle to Search capability. According to the updated feature sheet, Circle to Search will not be coming to the Pixel Fold, the company’s first foldable smartphone, and the affordable Pixel 7a, both powered by the same Tensor G2 processor as the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro.

Pixel 7 series smartphone users need to install the latest software update and the Google app to experience the brand new way of searching the web. To invoke Circle to Search on an eligible smartphone, one needs to long-press on the home button or the gesture button, followed by marking or highlighting the specific part of the screen.
Circle to Search results will include similar products from the web, and it can also be used to get more information on a specific place or subject. Currently limited to a handful of Pixel smartphones and the Galaxy S24 series, the same feature is expected to be made available for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series of tablets in the coming days.
