Harker Heights Coffee Connections event set for Nov. 7
The Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce will host its next Coffee Connections event from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 7 at Central Texas Youth Services, 100 S. Ann Blvd., Harker Heights.
This free, monthly event is open to chamber members and the community and will provide an opportunity to network and learn about the hosting business.
Priority Charter Schools to host ribbon cutting Nov. 7
Priority Charter Schools- Killeen, 405 S. Second St., will host a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 7.
There will be refreshments, networking, and more at this event. The public is invited to attend.
Ribbon cutting for Point Fitness will be Nov. 5
Point Fitness will host a ribbon cutting ceremony from 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 5 at 110 Morgan’s Point Road, Belton.
TaNeika Driver-Moultrie to be featured at Killeen speaker series Nov. 9
The Greater Killeen Young Professionals will host the next installment of its speaker series, “Our Next Guest,” from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, 1 Santa Fe Plaza Drive, Killeen.
TaNeika Driver-Moultrie, executive director of the Greater Killeen Community Clinic, will be the featured speaker. This lunch and learn program will feature networking, learning from local leaders, and an open forum.
This event is open to all and tickets for non-members are $5 each, which includes lunch. GKYP members may attend for free.
Annual Holiday Around Town set for Nov. 9
The Belton Area and Temple Chambers of Commerce will host the Holiday Around Town-Business After Hours annual networking event from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Cadence Bank Center, 301 W. Loop 121, Belton.
There will be over 50 booths featuring local businesses and vendors present, as well as door prizes, and information on how to shop small and local during the holiday season.
The public is invited to attend. Free food and drinks will be available for attendees.
Copperas Cove Chamber hosting food drive until Nov. 15
The Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, 204 E. Robertson Ave., will host a drop-off location for the Operation Feed Food Drive, which provides Thanksgiving meals to local families.
Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Nov. 15. Non-perishable and unexpired items like canned corn and green beans, rice, gravy, stuffing, and cornbread mix will be accepted.
Belton Chamber’s Veterans Day Ceremony will be Nov. 10
The Belton Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Veterans Day Ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 10 at the chamber parking lot, 412 E. Central Ave., Belton.
This event will honor those that have served and is open to the public.
