FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Keyshaun Langley scored 23 points, Mikeal Brown-Jones added 17 and UNC Greensboro stunned No. 14 Arkansas 78-72. The Spartans, who came in as 15 1/2-point underdogs according to FanDuel Sportsbook, went on a 13-2 run late in the first half and led by 15 early in the second, taking advantage of sloppy play by the Razorbacks. Tramon Mark scored 20 points and El Ellis added 19 for Arkansas. The Razorbacks got within four points midway through the second half, but the Spartans responded with a quick 5-0 run and Arkansas never seriously threatened after that.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Henry Coleman III had 19 points and 10 rebounds, and No. 13 Texas A&M overcame woeful 3-point shooting to beat Oral Roberts 74-66. The Aggies finished 2 of 22 from beyond the arc, but made up for it with 42 points in the paint. The 6-foot-8 Coleman did his work inside, finishing 7 of 7 from the field and 5 of 6 at the free-throw line. Wade Taylor IV scored 16 points and Tyrece Radford had 11 points for the Aggies. Isaac McBride scored 27 points for Oral Roberts, going 4 of 7 on 3s.

NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — Matthew Cleveland scored 18 points, Nijel Pack added 16 and No. 12 Miami topped Georgia 79-68 on Friday in the opening round of the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship. Wooga Poplar finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Hurricanes. Bensley Joseph also scored 13 for Miami, and Norchad Omier battled through foul trouble to score 11. Blue Cain scored 18 for Georgia, and Noah Thomasson added 14 and Jabri Abdur-Rahim finished with 13 for the Bulldogs. Georgia fell to 5-22 over the last five years against opponents ranked in the AP Top 25.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Freshman Reed Sheppard scored 25 points to lead No. 17 Kentucky to a 101-67 win over Stonehill on Friday night. Sheppard added seven assists and three steals to lead four players in double figures. Kentucky made 17 3-pointers, including 10 in the first half. Rob Dillingham, also a freshman, scored 20 points for Kentucky, and Antonio Reeves and Tre Mitchell added 15 each. Max Zegarowski and Tony Felder led Stonehill with 15 points each, followed by Jackson Benigni with 11.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Meechie Johnson scored 24 points and South Carolina never trailed in its 73-68 win over DePaul at the Arizona Tip-Off. South Carolina opened the season with four consecutive wins for the first time since 2016-17, when the Gamecocks lost 77-73 to Gonzaga in the Final Four after they won their first eight games. Johnson scored 12 points in a 20-6 run that gave the Gamecocks a 24-10 lead midway through the first half. Da’Sean Nelson hit 1 of 2 free throws to make it 67-62 with 2:35 remaining. Johnson answered with two free throws 13 seconds and the Gamecocks made 4 of 6 from the foul line from there to seal it. Chico Carter Jr. scored 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting for DePaul.

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Allen Flanigan scored 23 points and Matthew Murrell scored 15 points and Mississippi survived another upset bid, beating Sam Houston 70-67.  Lamar Wilkerson came up short on his 3 attempt and time ran out for Sam Houston. On Tuesday, the Rebels escaped Detroit Mercy’s upset attempt, beating the Titans 70-69. Javon Barnes scored 22 points for Sam Houston.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Walter Clayton Jr. scored 19 points graduate transfer Zyon Pullin acting in a reserve role scored 15 points and Florida beat Florida State 89-68. Clayton made a 3-pointer nine minutes in and that gave Florida its first 20-plus point lead of the night at 27-5. The Seminoles didn’t reach double digits in scoring until Darin Green Jr.’s layup made it 36-11 with 8:18 before halftime.

NEW YORK (AP) — Johni Broome scored 18 points, Jaylin Williams added a double-double and Auburn defeated St. Bonaventure 77-60 in the championship game of the Legends Classic at Barclays Center. The Tigers broke open the game late in the first half, going on a 26-11 run and leading 48-28 at halftime. Auburn hit five 3-pointers in the nine-minute stretch and was 7-for-14 from distance in the half. The Bonnies got as close as 67-56 with 3:43 remaining in the second half but K.D. Johnson and Dylan Cardwell scored Auburn’s final 10 points to close out the win.
