The men’s tournament begins the second round as the women’s tournament continues the first round on Saturday.
While the afternoon wave of games mostly features women’s matchups, the evening skews more toward the men. Either way, it’s going to be another loaded day of NCAA tournament action from start to finish.

Clark is up to 21 points, but isn’t having a solid shooting day. She’s 5-of-14, and 3-of-7 from 3-point range. The senior is clearly frustrated and that 22-point lead doesn’t mean this game is safe for the Hawkeyes to ease up. Iowa has given up a few large leads, something surely on Clark’s mind today.
The Hawkeyes are up 22 but clearly not playing their best basketball. Clark is nearing a triple-double but also has six turnovers and three fouls in the game.

The Jayhawks owned the overtime period and ran away from the Wolverines. They’ll likely play USC in the second round.
After Syracuse lost in their first game of the ACC Tournament, Felisha Legette-Jack said her team needed to “figure out how to play on this stage.” The No. 6 seed Orange came back within five of No. 11 Arizona, 37-32, but 13 turnovers are tough to overcome.

An electric first half is in the books in Salt Lake City. Hunter Dickinson’s 13 points leads the way for Kansas. Braden Huff has 11 for the Zags.
The Hawkeyes will head into the half with a 48-30 lead. It was a slow start but they found their rhythm in the second quarter.
Clark’s stats: 13 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds
It’s been a fun, high-scoring game so far. Kansas-Gonzaga all knotted up at 24-24.
The Hawkeyes have dominated the second quarter in Des Moines, opening the frame with a 15-3 run to put some distance between them and Holy Cross.
Kansas is knocking em down from deep! 3 for 4 so far.
